These devices can have any one of three types of batteries such as:

Wet Battery: Works based electrical energy that is created by some chemical reaction between 2 components such as lead and sulfuric acid.

GEL battery: has thixotopic gel on it and is formed with a mixture of water, phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid.

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery: this battery has a porous glass mat that is placed in between the electrical plates and is soaked with the electrolyte acid.

  • you need to know that when using your battery you should not allow it to be completely discharge, for when you do this it may lead to your batteries life shortage.
  • also you need to be careful about the charger you use, make sure that it is the right charger for the right battery, do not use an AGM charger to charge a GEL battery because when you do the battery might get damaged or worst it might explode.
  • you should also read the manual and follow the instructions indicated for the proper usage of the device and the battery.

You need to know the proper way to use and charge your battery for your battery to last long, for it you don’t know the proper way of taking care of your battery then the batteries life might fall of short or damage to the battery.

Also you have to know the batteries warranty policy and the thing that would cause the warranty to be invalidated so that you could evade it. By taking good care and knowing how to properly handle them, might save you some trouble and some money in your pocket.
